My inspiration for this painting of an F-18 Bounty Hunter fighter plane is from the song, America the Beautiful. The jet is symbolic of the freedom that this country enjoys, through the protection provided by the men and women in the Armed Forces. The sky may be stormy, but there remains a light of security, as long as there are people that risk their lives for America the beautiful.
