Description
The old houses in Europa have a fascinating charm. The fact that I lived half of my life in the Old country allowed me to appreciate these buildings. Surrounded by overgrown gardens filled with wildflowers and thorny rosebushes reminds the viewer of the fairytales from these countries. Inspired by their untamed beauty, I created a series of oil paintings called (Villas with Gardens). This painting is a piece from this collection. I depict this building for the red door, and the rose vines that decorate the stone wall. The artwork is painted with the palette knifes method to create exciting textures. The painting is impressionistic, a style that fits both a contemporary and traditional home decor.
