Description
The beauty of the female figure is one of the most inspiring subject matters in the arts. She has found her place in every art period throughout History. I painted this scene in an impressionistic style, but without taking away from the romantic atmosphere. The artwork depicts a woman one the steps of the many villas that line the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. Much of the painted is in impasto with lose strokes. The pastel colors harmonize with the softness of the lady.
