Birds are all around us. They enrich our lives with their presence and their voices. Winter time is harsh for the little creatures. The tree in represents a sanctuary this painting, with the large branches providing shelter from the cold. The church symbolizes this safety, for often we seek comfort in the walls of these buildings.
